I grew up in a small Northern Maine town called Eagle Lake. While we were not near the ocean, I did live on a small lake. I moved to Vermont after marrying my husband, who grew up in Windsor. We have one daughter, named Lily, who will be 3 in October. We also have one small (5 pound) dog, named Zoe. She is a mini-pomeranian. We moved to Bellows Falls last year and hope to remain in the area permanently.
I have been teaching in the Windham Northeast Supervisory Union for six years. I taught fifth grade at Cherry Hill for two years and this is my fourth year of teaching at the Middle School. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Policy from Unity College in 1995. I later went on to earn my teaching certificate from Vermont College in 2001. I carry a VT teaching license in Elementary Education and have been certified as a Highly Qualified Teacher by the State of Vermont Department of Education. Finally, I am in the process of earning my Master's Degree through the Vermont Math Initiative. |
