I was born and raised in Maryland, and received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA; and Master's Degree in Music from Boston University in Boston, MA. Along the way, I
met my husband (who was born in Irasburg, Vermont!); and we moved to Vermont with our son and two dogs. Soon after son #2 arrived! Both our sons are grown and on their own now, but we still have a beagle. My teaching career began in Maryland, but I have been teaching in Vermont for 24 years (23 at BFMS!). I am certified to teach Music in Grades K - 12 in Vermont; and am a Highly Qualified Teacher in Music. |
