I teach seventh grade science and seventh and eighth-grade health classes. I am SO happy I found BFMS and love my big, bright room and my energetic and curious students. In addition to teaching science and health, I have a small organic farm in Guilford, Vermont with my husband Jerry and son Stuart. I love fiddle music, painting, biking and just waking up every day to see the sunrise. I love to challenge my students to think critically, ask questions, and do work that has the potential to improve their lives and our community. I am most proud of the student-chosen technology projects I've added to the health curriculum, facilitating group challenges for Field Day and Orientation Week, and the full-day harvest and cooking trips to Deer Ridge Farm.
