Grade 7& 8 students have been hard at work practicing calligraphy strokes. The results have been amazing. Students will receive a certificate for their hard work when they complete 10 worksheets. All students worked with a basic Italic alphabet and some tried their hand at Old English. Packets will go home with
their certificate attached.

Art Plus students have just completed a long term project in papier mache. Students created a 3-D form starting with a wooden berry basket. Creativity abounded with all projects acquiring a final coat of acrylic paint. Students have now worked on paste paper for a landscape picture with color and pattern. Drawing will be our next focus as many students expressed an interest in developing these skills. |
