BFMS has become a P.B.I.S.-Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports School
BFMS students are taught “Paw Pride” a way of engaging and interacting in the school environment that demonstrates our school expectations of respect for ourselves, respect for others, and respect for property. We will be recognizing and rewarding the positive behavior of our students and celebrating their accomplishments through awards, assemblies, incentives, prizes, and more. What does Paw Pride mean? It is a way of being respectful and taking pride in one’s actions and one’s environment. At Bellows Falls Middle
School we care about our students, our school, and our community. That is why we promote our school expectations of respect and that is why we require our students to learn and to demonstrate Paw Pride at BFMS. We believe ALL of our students have the capacity to learn and to achieve great things! We also believe that our school is a special place where each member of our school community has the right to feel safe, respected, and nurtured within the learning environment.
