5th & 6th graders are learning about their roots, and traditions from their own families. They will be learning songs and dances from other cultures, beginning with Mexico. |
7th graders are learning appropriate music vocabulary to use when describing music. They are creating rhythm songs using Noteflight on the computer. |
8th graders are learning about the science of sound. They will be creating and recording their own soundtracks to use for advertising jingles or PSA's. |
