The 'Power School Portal' is available at BFMS. This portal provides access to your child's current grades and attendance through the internet. You will need the following information:
b) Your Confidential Username; and
c) Password
With internet access you can view some information about your child’s grades and attendance at any time. Please keep your passwords confidential so only you can access the information.
Please note that the official daily attendance is located at the bottom of the screen. This may be different from the attendance taken in homeroom, as the student may have arrived late and the attendance then was updated in the office.
You may click on any item which is blue to get further information. Clicking on your child's grade will open to all of the assignments which led to that grade. The overall grade shown is the current average of the grades posted. Clicking on the teacher's name will open e-mail. Several of the buttons are not in use at BFMS at this time, including School Bulletin, Class Registration, E-mail Subscribe, Balance and Calendar.
On every screen there is a "?" in the upper right corner; this is the program help menu. If you need other assistance with PowerSchool, please contact Cathy Morris the Guidance counselor
